Charge up your career. It takes courage to challenge the ordinary. We're looking for graduates who've got the curiosity, ambition, and ability to charge up their career and to help drive change at Volkswagen Group UK. With training and support to stretch your skills, take responsibility, and explore your interests, our graduate programme is a great launchpad for your career. Life here is far from ordinary; it's full of unexpected challenges, opportunities, and fantastic rewards.
Our two-year structured scheme gives you all the support and development you need to help reshape the way the world moves. You’ll enjoy a range of placements to develop your skills, share your ideas, and be a valued member of each team.
On our Marketing & Customer Experience Graduate Programme, you'll learn how we put our customers at the heart of everything we do:
- Digital: If you're matched into this rotation, you'll support in developing and maintaining a strong content presence across the brands' digital touchpoints, ensuring our customers receive up-to-date information in innovative ways about our model ranges and campaigns.
- CRM: If you're in this rotation, you'll work on maximising CRM marketing activities for the brand and retailer network, building stronger relationships with our customers and supporting their buying and ownership experience through insights and data.
- Performance Marketing: You'll spend time in our Performance Marketing team creating results-driven campaigns and approaches within digital marketing, supporting innovative marketing approaches across our digital channels to build demand.
- Customer Management: In this placement, you'll get close to our customers, working on projects in our Customer Service Centre and Customer Insights Program to improve customer satisfaction and build loyalty.
What do you need?
We're looking for people with curiosity and drive to succeed, who seek opportunities to learn, develop, and stretch themselves. If you share that desire and want to be part of our success, you're a good match.
You need to hold or be working towards a degree in any discipline. We are particularly keen to receive applications from students with a creative eye, great communication skills, and a passion for customers. We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our graduates to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office. You will also need the right to work in the UK.
What's in it for you?
As a Graduate, you'll start on a £31,800 salary. You'll also receive 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays, access to our car schemes, pension scheme, a range of flexible benefits, employee well-being support, an on-site restaurant, cycle-to-work scheme, and shopping/entertainment discounts.
What's the assessment process?
Our graduate recruitment process is designed to enable you to show us your true abilities. Once you apply, you'll be asked to complete numerical and situational judgement tests. Successful completion invites you to an online video interview, giving us the chance to get to know you. The final step is attending a face-to-face assessment centre in early 2027, where you'll participate in activities based on real-life tasks and meet managers and the current graduate cohort. Successful candidates will be offered a place shortly after the assessment centre and will join us in September 2027.
If you're ready to charge up your career, apply now. To avoid disappointment, submit your application as soon as possible, as we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if a high volume of applications is received. Once closed, we cannot consider further applications.
Our Industry and Vision
We're driven by difference. With six big brands each with its own history, designs, and innovations, we've created some of the world's most iconic vehicles, from luxury sports cars to family camper vans. Here, you'll discover opportunities, explore ideas, and tackle challenges that you won't find anywhere else.
It takes a range of teams to make the Group successful, all sharing the same aim: to deliver sustainable mobility for generations to come, keeping the customer and their changing demands at the heart of our work. There has never been a more exciting time to join our industry, as it undergoes the biggest transformation in over 100 years, with digitalisation, electrification, and driverless mobility emerging. We are actively seeking people with new skills, knowledge, and outlooks. A brave new world demands brave, diverse individuals—so whatever your background, we would love to hear from you. We value different perspectives and thought processes as vital during this exciting period of industry change.
