We are recruiting for a Transport Manager for our Parts Operations based in Dordon, Warwickshire on a full‑time fixed‑term contract until December 2027.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting into the Warehouse Planning Efficiency & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the full management of the 3PL supplier on a day‑to‑day basis to ensure that all of our core KPI's are delivered on while identifying opportunities for improvements with the distribution channels and delivering a better service to our customers.

- In-depth knowledge of transportation and managing a 3PL supplier to deliver against KPI's.
- Experience within a high-volume distribution operation, knowledge of warehouse processes and proficiency in warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive in identifying and implementing areas and processes for improvement within a transport or distribution operation.
- Flexible approach to working and able to deliver within budget.
Location
Dordon, Warwickshire. Volkswagen Group operates a 64,000 sq metres distribution centre in Dordon, which handles the distribution of all spare parts requirements for the UK market to over 800 sites including TPS (Trade Parts Specialists) and 90 sites across the Republic of Ireland.

We get the parts from suppliers in the UK and across the globe, and deliver them overnight to our UK dealerships. That means working closely with multiple teams so together we deliver excellent customer service and treat our customers as our best friend.
