IT Governance Analyst in Milton Keynes

are recruiting for an IT Governance Analyst. Reporting to the IT Governance Manager, you will support governance, assurance and control activities across IT, helping to ensure policies, standards and regulations are implemented consistently and continuously improved.

What you will be doing:

You will help deliver key IT Governance capabilities, including governance reporting, assurance and audit support, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and PKI administration. Through analysis, coordination and continuous improvement activities, you will help strengthen governance disciplines and support the successful delivery of the IT Strategy.

• Develop, maintain and improve IT policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and governance documentation.
• Conduct evidence-based assurance reviews, document findings and prepare clear recommendations for senior review.
• Implement and continuously improve IT Senior Leadership Team KPI dashboards, including validating their quality and completeness.
• Support established governance and control frameworks by monitoring compliance, coordinating governance activities, preparing reporting and escalating exceptions where required. Prepare governance packs, dashboards, meeting materials and supporting evidence for audits, assurance reviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage the operational PKI card and certificate service, maintaining process documentation, resolving issues and working with our Headquarter team on recurring problems and improvements.
• Support Identity and Access Management governance capabilities, including annual access reviews, recertification, segregation of duties reviews and audit records.
• Support privileged access governance by maintaining records, coordinating reviews and monitoring compliance with approved controls.

Skills & experience you can bring to the role:

• Previous experience working in an IT department that has implemented IT Governance, with a good understanding of the function and confidence explaining its benefits.
• Previous experience of working with IAM and PAM processes
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret disparate and numerical information, identify variances and quantify risk.
• Close attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality outputs.
• Effective written, verbal and listening skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders without relying on role or hierarchy.
• Good interpersonal, process management, organisation and time management skills.
• The ability to track compliance and performance, monitor issues and follow actions through to resolution.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
