About The Role

SALARY: From 29,854 pa dependent on experience

LOCATION: Milton Keynes

HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full time, permanent

We’re looking for an Assistant Treasury Analyst to support the effective management of our Treasury activities, including liquidity, funding, forecasting, financial planning and regulatory reporting. This analytical and compliance-focused role will be instrumental in providing accurate insight, maintaining robust processes and supporting the delivery of Treasury operations in line with internal governance and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with liquidity stress testing and scenario analysis by gathering, consolidating, and reviewing outputs from a range of Treasury and risk models.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities by preparing inputs for financial planning cycles, cost of funds analysis, and Treasury forecasting processes.
  • Producing liquidity and funding forecasts to support both long-term strategic planning and in-year business requirements.
  • Maintaining robust documentation and working papers for Treasury models, assumptions, and planning activities, ensuring data integrity and escalating any issues identified.
  • Assisting in the operation and monitoring of Treasury controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, governance requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, counterparties, auditors, and regulatory contacts to support the efficient running of Treasury activities.

What you’ll bring:

You’ll be an analytical and detail-oriented individual, with a keen interest in Treasury, financial planning and regulatory reporting. You’ll have a proactive mindset and a focus on accuracy, using data and insight to support effective decision-making and strong financial control.

Essential experience & skills:

  • Part-qualified Treasurer (ACT) or Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a solid understanding of Treasury and Accounting.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills, both internally up to the director level and externally, to secure commitment and support.
  • Ability to maintain an up-to-date understanding of market and credit risks.
  • Adaptable and proactive approach, capable of responding effectively to changing circumstances and demands.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Motivated by new challenges, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks of varying complexity.
