LOCATION: Milton Keynes
HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.
HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full time, permanent - Working 35 hours per week

Were looking for a Treasury Accountant to manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury risks while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.
This analytical, compliancefocused role will be instrumental in delivering accurate cash reporting, optimising liquidity, and supporting sound financial decisionmaking.
What youll be doing:
- Lead daily treasury operations, ensuring timely cash reconciliations, payments and transaction monitoring.
- Manage the organisations shortterm liquidity position, optimising internal and external funding and maximising efficient cash utilisation.
- Review and approve daily trading activity, ensuring compliance with policies, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Treasury, Controlling and Accounting teams to validate and challenge cash flow forecasts.
- Own the integrity of the cost of money P&L, maintaining accurate and uptodate funding and interest inputs.
- Lead monthend treasury accounting and reporting, delivering journals, accruals, variance analysis and clear commentary to stakeholders.
- Drive balance sheet integrity through preparation and review of reconciliations, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly.
What youll bring:
Youll be a qualified accountant with strong treasury experience and a track record of operating in a controlled, fastpaced environment.
Youll have a delivery mindset, with a focus on accuracy, continuous improvement and driving effective financial and liquidity management.
Essential experience & skills
- Qualified accountant or working towards a UK qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACT or AAT).
- Experience within treasury or finance, ideally in financial services or banking.
- Strong understanding of cash management, treasury controls, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with working knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to support junior colleagues and work collaboratively.
- Analytical, detailoriented, and confident in problem solving.
