About The Role

SALARY: Starting from £28,708.80 pa dependent on experience

LOCATION: Milton Keynes

HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time Fixed Term Contract until 31/12/2026, 35 hours per week

We’re looking for a Motor Commissions Insight Executive to provide accurate data, analysis, and insight to support VWFS UK’s responses to Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) queries and legal matters. The purpose of this role is to ensure the business can meet regulatory and litigation obligations by delivering clear, reliable, and timely information relating to our motor commission models. This specialist, analytical role will be instrumental in delivering high-quality insight that strengthens our compliance position and supports effective stakeholder engagement. The Insight Executive will handle inbound FOS and legal queries, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvements to reporting processes to ensure outputs remain robust and fit for purpose.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Investigating and resolving commission-related complaints raised by customers.
  • Working with Claims Management Companies (CMCs) and external legal partners to progress cases and share required information.
  • Speaking directly with customers and CMCs to validate claims and answer questions.
  • Managing and updating the FOS tracker and preparing case information for internal teams.
  • Pulling together evidence and documentation for Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) cases, including details on commission payments.
  • Responding to FOS queries and providing clear explanations of our calculations and processes.
  • Supporting the handling of FOS adjudications, working with legal teams and following through on required actions or outcomes.
  • Keeping accurate records of cases received and maintaining key documents, including point-of-sale materials.
  • Building strong working relationships across the business to improve data quality and consistency.
  • Continually improving reports, processes, and documentation to support future needs.

Essential experience & skills:

  • Experience in automotive finance and/or the wider banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in customer resolution environments.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to senior and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time.
  • Analytical mindset with a methodical approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; experience with tools such as Business Objects, SQL or Tableau is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work at pace, remain calm under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
