Hybrid working: We operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times you will need to be in more frequently depending on business needs.
Eligibility: To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Masterβs students are not eligible for this placement. Please consider before applying if you live more than 60 minutes away from post code MK15 8HG, that you would need to relocate to Milton Keynes or be a commutable distance (within 60 minutes).
Overview: We are looking for a Vehicle Rental Analyst Undergraduate to join our Fleet team. In this role you will have exposure to all areas of fleet management within the rental industry. If you think outside of the box and are keen to explore new ways of working, then apply.
What will you be doing?
- Support the Fleet Services Support Manager to ensure vehicle downtime is minimal, resulting in higher vehicle utilisation and optimisation; liaising with 3rd party suppliers, dealers and customers as appropriate.
- Support the Fleet & Customer Operations Executives with life asset management tasks to enable the smooth running of fleet, including managing and raising ad hoc invoices from the rental system (e.g., excess mileage charges, write-offs, fines, insurance, sales invoices).
- Support the Fleet & Customer Operations Executives with effective processing of logistics movements for customers & rental locations through communication with 3rd party suppliers.
- Regularly generate insightful Fleet reporting.
- Generate customer and head office invoices to locations to maintain the Mobility revenue stream.
- Liaise with Finance to ensure invoices are processed correctly and within SLA to manage the payment process.
- Stay informed of environmental, legal, economic and political developments impacting fleet and rental business in the Mobility Sector.
