At VWFS UK, we’re looking for a dynamic Regional Development Consultant who’s ready to make a real impact. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and execute regional strategies that champion effective sales practices and bring our wider Sales Strategy to life. What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a regional territory strategy to drive sales targets across New, Used, Aftersales, Renewals, Insurance, and Bank.
  • Manage and deliver targeted sales consultancy activities through face-to-face and remote communications.
  • Conduct deep-dive business and performance analysis to enhance customer sales journeys.
  • Influence stakeholders at Boardroom and Divisional Director levels with clear, concise commercial recommendations.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with retailers to meet budgeted plans and performance targets.
  • Identify additional opportunities for centre digital platform integrations and potential used 'Tier 2' sites.
  • Maintain an understanding of regulatory obligations and ensure all activities align with treating customers fairly.
  • Create detailed visit reports and action plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Support retailer partners through VWFS-led transformation programmes and market changes.
  • Increase centre product knowledge by promoting adherence to VWFS training and development assets.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in sales processes and account development.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of consulting, negotiating, and influencing.
  • Proficiency in using BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and Salesforce is desirable.
  • Self-motivated with excellent negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to operate agilely, think strategically, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify performance trends and determine effective actions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present confidently.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Significant experience in financial services and/or the automotive sector with an understanding of the regulatory environment - desirable.
  • Experience working within a retailer network - desirable.
