Hybrid working: Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicants will be required to attend the office five days a week.

We’re looking for 3 IT Tech Bar Analysts to provide first‑line, walk‑up technical support, acting as a key point of contact for resolving IT issues and ensuring a seamless technology experience for colleagues across the organisation. This high‑paced, customer‑focused and analytical role will be instrumental in delivering timely, high‑quality technical support, reducing system downtime and improving user satisfaction through efficient incident resolution, problem analysis, and proactive service improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide 2nd line IT desktop support to colleagues, supporting laptops, mobile devices, printers, meeting room AV equipment and Citrix desktop environments.
- Provision, configure and support iPhones and iPads, resolving associated incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
- Build, provision and support laptops, including VPN access, Windows 10/11 configuration, user profile setup, and initial handover to business colleagues.
- Provision and support Thin PC builds for Citrix use within the office, assisting colleagues with usage and resolving related incidents and service requests.
- Produce, review, and act upon weekly and monthly reports relating to Microsoft patching, backups, and antivirus status across laptops, desktops, and meeting room devices, ensuring security compliance and remediating issues where required.
- Ensure the IT asset register is accurately maintained, recording all hardware changes and reconciling data with monthly Active Directory exports to meet audit and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update IT Desktop Local Working Instructions (LWIs), creating new documentation as required to ensure consistent, repeatable, and compliant processes.
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be a customer‑focused IT support professional with strong desktop support experience and a hands‑on approach. You’ll have a delivery mindset and a passion for providing high‑quality, efficient technical support, taking ownership of issues and ensuring a great end‑user experience.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Experience rolling out the Microsoft 365 (ProPlus) suite across a large laptop estate.
- Proven experience supporting a remote and hybrid laptop workforce.
- Strong IT desktop support experience with Windows client operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11) and standard shrink‑wrap applications.
- Experience working to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and managing incident and service request queues through to resolution.
- Solid 2nd line support experience across the Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 suite.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and deploying laptop build images using SCCM (or equivalent endpoint management tools).
- Hands‑on hardware support experience covering workstations, laptops, printers, video conferencing equipment, and mobile devices.
