Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

Eligibility: To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Master’s students are not eligible for this placement.

Please consider before applying if you live more than 60 minutes away from post code MK15 8HG, that you would need to relocate to either Milton Keynes or be a commutable distance (within 60 minutes).

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to join our Finance team as a Regulatory Reporting Undergraduate. In this dynamic role, you will gain first-hand experience in the fast-paced world of financial regulation. As a key member of the team, your enthusiasm for learning, dedication to excellence and attention to detail will be essential. You will have the chance to contribute to various projects and tasks, collaborating closely with stakeholders to gain valuable industry insights and develop your skills.

What will you be doing?

  • You will contribute to the delivery of a first-class regulatory reporting function, ensuring continued regulatory compliance and adherence to strict reporting deadlines.
  • Building productive relationships with stakeholders, including internal colleagues and Head Quarter colleagues to collaborate and gather necessary accounting information.
  • Working closely with the Compliance and Legal departments to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Involvement in both external and internal audits.
  • You will contribute to ad-hoc investigations and analysis tasks as directed by the Regulatory Reporting Manager.
  • Contributing to the development of financial forecasts to support the company\’s strategic planning.

  • Currently studying a degree in Finance, Economics, Politics or a related field
  • Have effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across different business levels.
  • Have a keen eye for detail, ability to focus on accuracy and statistical problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical aptitude
  • Can work independently and handle responsibility
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

What Our Recruitment Process Looks Like

  • Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
  • You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
  • If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
  • If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.

Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
