We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Treasury Analyst to join our team, focusing on strategic liquidity management and analytics for our UK Market entities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential analytics, developing and implementing liquidity models, and proposing strategic actions to senior management to maintain optimal liquidity coverage, hedging positions, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing analysis of essential Treasury and Liquidity analytical models and forecasts, ensuring accurate reporting of liquidity and hedging positions to regulators, local management, and headquarters.
- Prepare precise reports, analyses, and presentations on liquidity buffers and swap requirements, considering P&L implications to support decision-making.
- Ensure the alignment of analysis and model outputs with regulatory (PRA / ECB) and Volkswagen Group methodologies.
- Support the Treasurer in establishing and operationalizing RDTB treasury activities and liquidity reporting, ensuring alignment with ILAAP requirements and relevant KPIs.
- Act as a subject matter expert in developing and executing month-end processes, reporting, reconciliations, variance analyses, and commentaries, focusing on automation for the RDTB.
- Perform daily treasury tasks, including short-term cash planning and steering proposals.
Skills and Experience:
- Part-qualified Treasurer (ACT) or Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a solid understanding of Treasury and Accounting.
- Demonstrated experience in Treasury Function operations, preferably within a Financial Services environment.
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills, both internally up to the director level and externally, to secure commitment and support.
- Ability to maintain an up-to-date understanding of market and credit risks.
- Adaptable and proactive approach, capable of responding effectively to changing circumstances and demands.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Motivated by new challenges, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks of varying complexity.
