As part of the continued growth of our in-house Learning & Development function, VolkerStevin is looking for an ambitious Learning & Development Advisor to support the delivery of our people strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Learning & Development Business Partner and HR team, helping to shape talent, engagement, development, and organisational culture across the business. Whether you're currently working in Learning &Development, Talent, or HR, this role offers the chance to develop specialist expertise while contributing to initiatives that make a real difference to our people and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management
- Support talent and succession planning activities across the business.
- Help identify high-potential employees and development opportunities.
- Assist with the development of career pathways and progression opportunities.
- Monitor talent outcomes and provide insight to support future development initiatives.
Employee Engagement
- Support engagement surveys and action planning activities.
- Analyse feedback, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with employee recognition, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
- Help promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Learning & Development
- Support the delivery of learning, leadership and management development programmes.
- Identify capability gaps and development needs.
- Assist with apprenticeship, graduate and early career initiatives.
- Evaluate learning activities and support continuous improvement.
Projects, Reporting & Insights
- Support the delivery of people and learning-related projects.
- Assist with the implementation of new frameworks, programmes and processes.
- Produce reports, dashboards and people insights relating to engagement, talent and development activity.
- Use data to support recommendations and inform decision-making.
About You
We're looking for someone who is: Experienced within Learning & Development, HR, Talent or a related people-focused role. Passionate about employee development and engagement. Comfortable analysing data and producing meaningful insights. Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities. A strong communicator who builds effective relationships with stakeholders. Interested in developing expertise in talent management, organisational development and employee engagement.
