The role will join VolkerRail Major Projects Division assigned to the Southern Track Renewal Framework, which is part of the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE). The role is based in Tonbridge supporting delivery within the Network Rail Kent, Wessex & Sussex Routes.
The selected candidate will:
- Act as a designated Assistant Information Manager for the track package of the SID project
- Mentor and support other Information Control team members
- Establish a robust Information Control process to support the delivery and receipt of formal project information
- Assist in maintaining an overview of all aspects relating to Information Management/BIM of a project
- Promote the function to colleagues, clients and contractors
- Support the project with controlling all aspects relating to Information Management (particularly delivery) for particular project(s)
- Support to the Project Information Manager by managing information workflows and information compliance for your particular project(s)
- Monitor the quality and compliance of information in line with project, business and industry standards
- Maintain clear IM communication between Lead Appointing Party, Appointed Parties and supply chain
- Provide training guidance and support to project team members, in order to maintain project information standards and requirements
About you:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in an appropriate ICT or Computer Science subject, personal accreditation in Information Management against BSI Pathway (or equivalent), and experience in information management delivery across a series of multi-disciplinary projects.
