ResponsibilitiesQuantity Surveyors are essential to driving VolkerLaser’s success and are responsible for managing costs, delivering value and ensuring commercial compliance on our projects. We are committed to providing you with the opportunity to gain experience and put into practice your learning by running a placement year programme with an opportunity to secure a graduate job after your final year at university. Our minimum 40-week industry placement programmes focus on on-the-job learning, to complement your university course. Placements focus on technical skills and the progression towards increasing responsibility. You will learn through on-site experience, your team, line manager and training courses. Those who show consistent progress may be considered for employment post-graduation. This may include a bursary for your final university year and the opportunity to return to VolkerLaser.
