VolkerStevin and our specialist businesses have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Information Advisor to join the team on our project at Sizewell C. The Quality Systems Information Advisor is responsible for coordinating, sense-checking, and supporting the close-out of Lifetime Quality Records (LTRQs) and associated quality documentation for works delivered by VolkerStevin Specialist Business Limited at Sizewell C. The role ensures that quality records are complete, correct, valid, and suitable for client review, supporting the structured preparation and progression of LTRQ packs through review to readiness for submission. The post holder acts as a quality-informed interface between site teams, the supply chain, internal quality functions, and the client quality team. This is a specialist role focused on quality systems and information integrity and is distinct from traditional site-based Quality Advisor or Quality Engineer roles.
Key Accountabilities
- Quality Systems and Lifetime Quality Records
- Coordinate the collation and organisation of Lifetime Quality Records (LTRQs) and supporting documentation across applicable contracts and work packages.
- Ensure LTRQ packs contain the correct documentation in line with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), contractual requirements, and client expectations.
- Track progress of LTRQ pack development, review comments, and close-out actions.
- Recommend LTRQ packs as ready for submission through defined governance routes, noting that formal agreement and acceptance sit elsewhere.
- Quality Sense-Checking and Records Assurance
- Apply professional quality judgement to sense-check documentation provided by site teams and the supply chain.
- Confirm that quality records are relevant to the works undertaken, valid and in date, correctly referenced and traceable, aligned to ITP and contractual requirements.
- Identify omissions, inconsistencies, or incorrect submissions at an early stage to minimise late rework or rejection.
- This role provides independent quality sense-checking but does not undertake technical approval or engineering sign-off.
- Supply Chain Interface
- Liaise directly with subcontractor and supplier quality professionals to clarify documentation and evidence requirements.
- Resolve missing, incorrect, or unclear quality records.
- Agree corrective actions relating to quality documentation.
- Act as a quality-to-quality interface, reducing reliance on site teams for document recovery and rework.
- Site Interface and Support
- Interface with site engineers and site management teams responsible for gathering quality records during delivery.
- Provide guidance on quality record expectations.
- Support site teams by resolving documentation issues through appropriate quality channels.
- Client Quality Interface
- Attend formal client quality review meetings as required.
- Interface with the client quality team through structured reviews and written comment resolution.
- Support constructive dialogue to clarify expectations and progress LTRQ packs toward agreement and acceptance.
- Coordinate responses to client quality comments relating to LTRQs.
- Document Control and Systems
- Work within both VolkerStevin and client-mandated document management systems.
- Support scanning, uploading, indexing, and structuring of quality records where required.
- Ensure quality records are traceable, auditable, and retrievable within agreed systems.

- Experience liaising with supply chain and client quality teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex documentation sets.
