Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of construction and civil engineering tasks across a range of disciplines.
- Operate tools, plant and equipment safely and competently in line with training, instruction and authorisation.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on site, including the care and maintenance of tools, plant and work areas.
- Identify and report hazards, near misses, defects or unsafe working conditions.
- Comply with all health, safety, wellbeing and environmental policies and procedures at all times, taking responsibility for your own and others’ safety.
- Participate and actively engage in all site briefings, toolbox talks and training activities.
- Represent Volker Laser professionally while working with clients, sub-contractors, stakeholders and members of the public.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to support project execution.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working on construction sites.
- Experience in concrete repair/strengthening, cathodic protection or civils is advantageous.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- CSCS card.
- Relevant job specific tickets.
- Full UK valid driving licence.
