The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, offering a tailored package of specialist works to clients across the UK. Our structural solutions include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection works, steel repair and strengthening work, carbon fibre and temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement. We also provide specialist lightweight decking and access solutions, as well as being specialists in long bridge and cable refurbishment.

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Planner who can take full responsibility for all planning and programme requirements across our projects. In this role, the senior planner will support the Project Manager in delivering all planning and programme activities across assigned projects, while also providing planning expertise to wider functions, including tender preparation and development.

The ideal Senior Planner will have progressed from site-based roles into planning, with strong experience managing multiple projects, leading teams, and communicating effectively.

About you

  • Has operated in a senior planning position before (desirable)
  • Proven project planning experience
  • Detailed knowledge of using planning software such as Primavera P6
  • Experience providing planning input and support for tenders and pre‑construction activities
  • Experience with working on NEC 4 contract types
  • Experience of planning for Civils projects
  • Degree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification)
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (Desirable)
