Job Share - Thursday and Friday (9am-5pm) based in Hoddesdon

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Clerk to join our Purchase Card processing team on a job-share basis. This role plays an important part in supporting the VolkerWessels UK Group with the accurate processing and administration of purchase cards within our VolkerServices central finance function.

About our role
  • Maintaining compliance reporting and working closely with cardholders and business units to ensure processes are followed.
  • Responding to internal and external stakeholder needs and delivering a customer-focused service that reflects the values of our central finance team.
  • Supporting the identification and implementation of process improvements.
  • Assisting business units with reporting, analytics, and resolving purchase-card-related queries.
About you
  • You will bring previous experience in Accounts and feel confident working with Microsoft 365, HMRC VAT requirements, and strong Excel skills.
  • You will be an excellent communicator-both written and verbal-and someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Your ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organised, and meet deadlines will be key to your success in this role.
  • You will also hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above.
