Be among the first 25 applicants. VolkerStevin is hiring a Customer Experience Coordinator. This position will cover a number of projects within the North West, typically from Lancaster to Salford. As part of the customer experience team, you will be responsible for the delivery of communications and engagement in a public setting. You will work closely with colleagues to support all aspects of the scheme, engage with key communities and stakeholders, and assist with events. Lead public meetings and handle challenging situations as they arise. This includes supporting proactive communications work that influences policies, plans and decisions of key local stakeholders. You will provide additional support to the project team and work closely with internal teams to maintain and deliver a communications strategy, as well as supporting our partners both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre-start, project update meetings, and business collaboration meetings providing input and support
- Identify who the key customers and stakeholders are, through the client
- Contribute to the development and management of a detailed communications plan; create customer literature, on-site setup, and media materials
- Ensure the site is set up in accordance with branding guidelines; improve perception of VolkerStevin/Client through on-site customer communications and branding
- Maintain ongoing proactive customer communications; face-to-face, letters, postal surveys, media
- Conduct regular feedback during construction to identify and resolve current concerns and drive future improvements
- Resolve and manage all unwanted contacts/complaints in a professional manner and to agreed SLAs
- Share good news stories within VolkerStevin and the Client
- Establish and develop effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
About You / Qualifications
- Clear communication skills: able to produce high-quality plain English letters and engagement materials; able to listen and negotiate; show judgement and tact when dealing with challenging situations
- Proven successes in building and coordinating relationships with internal and external customers and partners
- Plan and execute successful events and manage our website
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- A positive, proactive, and hard-working attitude
- A driving licence is essential for this position
