As part of the continued growth of our in-house Learning & Development function, VolkerStevin is looking for an ambitious Learning & Development Advisor to support the delivery of our people strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Learning & Development Business Partner and HR team, helping to shape talent, engagement, development, and organisational culture across the business.

The Role
You'll support a range of talent, learning, engagement and development activities designed to attract, develop and retain great people. From succession planning and leadership development to employee engagement and people insights, you'll play an important role in building a positive and high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Management
- Support talent and succession planning activities across the business.
- Help identify high-potential employees and development opportunities.
- Assist with the development of career pathways and progression opportunities.
- Monitor talent outcomes and provide insight to support future development initiatives.
- Employee Engagement
- Support engagement surveys and action planning activities.
- Analyse feedback, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with employee recognition, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
- Help promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Learning & Development
- Support the delivery of learning, leadership and management development programmes.
- Identify capability gaps and development needs.
- Assist with apprenticeship, graduate and early career initiatives.
- Evaluate learning activities and support continuous improvement.
- Projects, Reporting & Insights
- Support the delivery of people and learning-related projects.
- Assist with the implementation of new frameworks, programmes and processes.
- Produce reports, dashboards and people insights relating to engagement, talent and development activity.
- Use data to support recommendations and inform decision-making.

We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within Learning & Development, HR, Talent or a related people-focused role.
- Passionate about employee development and engagement.
- Comfortable analysing data and producing meaningful insights.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A strong communicator who builds effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Interested in developing expertise in talent management, organisational development and employee engagement.

- Previous experience within HR, People, Talent, Learning & Development or Organisational Development.
- Experience supporting or delivering talent, engagement, development, or culture initiatives.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
