Join our team here at VolkerFitzpatrick We are recruiting for a Communications Apprentice to join our talented Communications team, based out of our Hoddesdon office. Reporting into our Communications Manager, you\’ll assist in the delivery of internal and external communications for our business unit, VolkerFitzpatrick. Within this role, you\’ll not only have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of Communications, but you\’ll be working talented individuals from across the business to learn and develop your skills and experience. About our role Internal communications – You will be responsible for creating content for our internal communications platforms (print and digital) such as Videos, Social Media Newsletters and company-wide email correspondence. Social media and branding – Not only will you create video content for our social media channels including the filming and editing of short videos, but you\’ll support in the planning and scheduling of social media content, ensuring the video library is up to date. External Communications – You\’ll also assist in the creation, editing, and distribution of external communications/marketing materials. And there\’s more…. You\’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the communications team and assist in monitoring and reporting on performance metrics across the website, intranet, and social media platforms About you What we are looking forβ¦ Applicants will ideally have/be on track to achieve A-level/BTECs in English /media studies. You\’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You\’ll be proficient in Canva (desirable) for creating visually engaging content, coupled with a solid understanding of various social media platforms. You\’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be proactive, an innovator and a team player. Ideally, you\’ll hold a full UK driver\’s license. Please note the role is based on site at our Hoddesdon HQ, with ad-hoc travel to our sites across the UK.
