We have a superb opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Managing Quantity Surveyor to work on a new project based in Kent. The project is a £34m Link Road; a 550-metre-long road, with a 250-metre viaduct set to be built over the Great Stour River, the river's flood plain, and the railway line from Canterbury to Ramsgate - Sturry Link Road.
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for all commercial and contractual matters on site and you will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors to successfully deliver the scheme and achieve optimum recovery & cash flow, whilst also maintaining excellent relationships with the client.
About you
- You will have extensive experience within Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects working within a Tier 1 contracting environment.
- You will be a strong communicator able to motivate and lead a team.
- You will hold an accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
- You will have progressed and gained experience as Project Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- You will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
