Key duties:
- Ensure all employee rosters are created, adhering to all appropriate terms and conditions.
- Ensure all employee rosters are created, adhering to all relevant Railway Standards.
- Ensure that all fatigue management calculations are undertaken, and the results factored into all staff rosters.
- Develop and maintain the rostering database to ensure information is available, including the production of internal reports.
- Ensure confirmed plan changes are managed to ensure delivery of contracted works, including staff changes, machine change requirements, train pathing requirements (VSTP), route conductor change requirements.
- Ensure the planning system is updated with confirmed Train paths upon receipt and that all changes are managed to ensure delivery of planned shifts.
- Support with the logistic requirements for the Plant business – including but not limited to fuel, parts, consumables, and machine waste collection to ensure optimum machine reliability and performance.
- Ensure all OTMR data is downloaded as per the relevant standards.
- With the support of the Resource Coordination Manager and Logistic Manager, develop a suite of reports to brief out monthly to enable review, discussion, and necessary action.
About you:
- Be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of experience in a similar role within the rail/construction-related industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, literacy and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and competing priorities.
- Flexible, proactive and positive attitude; diplomatic and patient, demonstrating exceptional initiative to coordinate multiple parties and act collaboratively.
- Be able to maintain good relationships with experienced managers and leaders.
