We have a successful track record of delivering projects across the whole of the UK; working with Network Rail, London Underground as well as light rail and tram operating companies to enhance the national infrastructure. As one of the UKs oldest railway contractors, with a history dating back over 80 years, we are passionate about the preservation and development of the railways. An opportunity has arisen for 2 Information Management Apprentices to join Volker Rail based in Doncaster.

Key duties:

  • Support the delivery of Information Management (IM) activities on projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Assist in the use and administration of Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Asite, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of digital tools, workflows, and system improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Pre-contract: Assist with bid support and preparation of key IM documentation (e.g. BIM Execution Plans, Digital Plans).
  • Mobilisation: Help set up projects, including IM plans, responsibilities, systems, and user access.
