We build strong collaborative relationships with our clients to drive improvements and efficiency in all our activities. We have the capability to deliver major surfacing and public realm infrastructure projects. Our specialist in-house traffic management division provides expert advice and support across the industry, whilst assisting with our own, in-house contracts.
As a Foreman, you will lead by example in delivering a zero-compromise approach to Safety and Quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering traffic management operations in line with NHSS 12 and Chapter 8 (12A/B & 12D)
- Supervising, supporting and mentoring operatives and trainees
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to required standards
- Conducting site surveys and reviewing/approving TM layouts where required
- Maintaining and checking TM equipment, reporting defects promptly
- Completing all job records, permits, and required documentation accurately
- Participating in call-out and weekend rotas, including emergency response
- Liaising professionally with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and permitting regulations
- Delivering team briefings, inductions and ensuring staff understand roles and risks
- Building strong client relationships and supporting high levels of customer satisfaction
- Reporting near misses, monitoring performance, and identifying team training needs
About you:
- Previous experience in traffic management operations
- Previous experience in highways maintenance
- Holder of valid CSCS card
- Holder of NHSS12DM1-M6
- Holder of NHSS12A/B Foreman
- Holder of full valid UK driving license
- Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
