Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate sustainable sales across Volk’s diagnostic imaging, ophthalmic lens, and surgical systems product lines.
- Develop a deep understanding of the market, including segments, size, competition, and opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales and growth strategies for the region.
- Conduct direct sales to end-users when required.
- Represent Volk at industry trade shows.
- Provide sales training for distributors.
- Support sales to ophthalmology residency and fellowship programs, and schools of optometry.
- Support the creation of sales/marketing collateral for the region with support from the head office.
- Contribute ideas for marketing Volk products and new product design.
Qualifications
- Prior eye care experience in a sales role.
- Bachelor\’s degree, preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business.
- At least 4 years of sales experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales.
- Sales leadership and/or sales training experience is preferred.
Travel
This position requires approximately 75% travel, mostly by air. Candidates near major cities/airports within the region will have an advantage.
