We are partnering with an ambitious and well-backed index business launching a new custom equity indices solution, and are looking to hire a senior sales professional with deep experience selling equity index solutions to institutional clients.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in building the commercial franchise of a new index provider targeting instititional asset managers, asset owners and investment banks etc.
The Role
You will be responsible for driving commercial adoption of the firm's equity index products across institutional markets, helping establish long-term strategic client relationships and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling equity index licensing, custom indices and data solutions to institutional investors
- Developing relationships with instititional investors
- Driving new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Working closely with product and leadership teams on market positioning and go-to-market strategy
- Helping shape the commercial build-out of a high-growth index business
Candidate Profile
We are specifically seeking individuals who have experience selling index products and solutions from firms such as:
or similar institutional index providers
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven track record selling equity index products, custom index solutions or licensing solutions
- Existing institutional relationships with asset managers and asset owners etc.
- Strong understanding of index construction
- Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build a growing business
- Ability to operate credibly with senior institutional stakeholders
