Job Description
Volition has partnered with a scaling SaaS FinTech that is building a product suite targeted towards asset and investment managers as they look to hire a Product Owner. The role will have a blend of responsibilities across Product Management and Product Ownership.
You’ll take ownership of all Market & Reference Data strategic initiatives from a product perspective. Working closely with the development teams the individual will possess a technical mindset in order to prioritise requirements and ensure the product roadmap is tracking to plan.
We are looking to speak to Product Owners with 4+ years of experience working with Market Data and complex data feeds. Ideally you will have worked with Bonds, Equities, Futures & Derivatives Data and worked at a Market Data Vendor – Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, SIX etc.
Other relevant experience includes:
- 3+ years’ experience in Financial Markets as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst or Product Manager
- Understanding of Market Data and complex technical data problems.
- An ability & desire to work closely with Engineering teams, writing technical specifications, overseeing development cycles.
- A 2.1 from a top university
- An appreciation for technology – e.g. API’s, Cloud, Python or other programming languages
