A rapidly scaling Capital Markets FinTech is seeking a Java Developer to work on the build of a financial data platform. The role will suit someone who wants to learn about complex financial products and contribute to the build of an industry-leading financial data platform.
You’ll work closely with a team of engineers to ensure the platform meets the demands of mission-critical financial services clients.
Responsibilities:- Develop high performance Java applications
- Own backend platform builds
- Work with distributed systems and cloud environments
- Advocate high quality code and deliver best practices
- Support scalability, resilience, and performance
- 1-3+ years in senior development roles
- Some background or a desire to work in FinTech or Financial Services (Capital Markets beneficial)
- Software development experience (Java mandatory)
- Looking to gain exposure to distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture
- Experience with some cloud - preferably AWS
- Strong communicator able to influence technical direction
- Hands-on mindset
London – 1 day per week onsite
