Full Stack Java Engineer (React/Spring) - Algorithmic Trading

Role Overview: We are looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and bridge the gap between frontend and backend development. This role will play a key part in developing robust backend systems and seamless user interfaces, enhancing the functionality and usability of our trading platforms. As we continue to grow, you’ll collaborate closely with our trading systems engineers and backend specialists to address evolving requirements and develop high-impact solutions. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Web and Java/Kotlin to ensure reliable and scalable systems. Frontend Development: Build and optimize user interfaces using React and TypeScript, creating responsive and efficient UIs for a seamless user experience. System Integration: Collaborate with trading systems engineers to integrate backend components with frontend applications, streamlining data flow and user interaction. Cloud Infrastructure: Work with cloud platforms to optimize applicationperformance and s calability (experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus). Code Quality & Testing: Maintain high standards in code quality, including conducting code reviews and implementing testing best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with backend and algorithmic engineers to implement and refine system functionality, focusing on delivering cohesive and responsive trading solutions. Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to system performance improvements, suggesting architectural and process enhancements. Technical Skills: Backend: Proficiency in Spring Web and Java/Kotlin for backend services. Frontend: Strong experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development. Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Python: Experience with Python is beneficial, especially for data processing or scripting. Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical and high-performance solutions. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project Management: Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Algorithmic Knowledge: Basic understanding of trading systems or algorithmic trading principles. UI/UX Awareness: Familiarity with UI/UX design best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
