The Opportunity
We're partnering with a specialist FinTech firm providing market data, investment analytics and risk solutions to institutional clients.
They're looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join their London team, focusing on data quality, data pipelines and operational processes supporting their financial data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable data flows.
- Analyse new data feeds and map datasets to internal databases.
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes and resolve quality issues.
- Automate manual workflows and optimise operational processes.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor data quality and performance.
- Collaborate with technology and commercial teams on data-related requirements.
Skills & Experience
- 1–5 years' experience in Data Operations, Data Analysis or a similar role.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python for scripting or automation.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Finance or similar.
