NFL Universe Football is one of Roblox's leading sports experiences, bringing authentic NFL action to millions of players around the world. We're looking for a creative and versatile 2D Generalist to own the execution of the game's 2D art across UI, seasonal events, and marketing experiences.
In this role, you'll create everything from icons, menus, HUDs, and pop-up screens to event branding, animated emojis, banners, and in-game offers. You'll collaborate closely with Designers, Engineers, and Artists to craft polished, engaging visuals that enhance the player experience and bring new features, seasons, and live events to life.

What You’ll Do
- Design high-quality 2D assets for NFL Universe Football, including UI elements (buttons, icons, menus, HUDs, and pop-ups) as well as promotional and seasonal content such as banners, event graphics, animated emojis, and in-game offers.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers, Designers, and cross‑functional partners to iterate on layouts, interactions, and visual states that enhance the player experience.
- Maintain and evolve the game's visual language by working within established style guides while contributing new ideas and improvements where appropriate.
- Ensure all interface and visual assets are intuitive, readable, and optimized across desktop, mobile, and console experiences.
- Contribute to UI and UX discussions by providing thoughtful feedback and helping improve usability, clarity, and overall visual quality.
- Participate actively in team meetings, including art reviews, scrums, and 1:1s, while contributing to a collaborative and feedback‑oriented creative culture.
Who You Are
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates polished 2D UI and 2D assets within a game environment.
- Strong foundation in drawing, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects/Premiere, or comparable design software.
- Hands‑on experience with creating functional UI elements for game titles.
- Understanding of production pipelines and asset optimization.
- Strong communication skills across all channels used in our remote working environment, along with the ability to take and apply constructive feedback.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of how 2D interface and promotional assets integrate with and complement 3D game environments.
- Experience working with Roblox Studio's UI systems, asset pipelines, and image requirements.
- Familiarity with Roblox ScreenGui hierarchies, responsive UI design, resolution scaling, and multi‑device input considerations.
- Ability to prepare and organize UI assets in Roblox Studio in a way that enables smooth implementation by engineering teams.
- Passion for football, sports, or sports entertainment.
- Strong awareness of Gen Alpha culture, including gaming trends, memes, creators, fashion, and internet culture.
- Deep familiarity with the Roblox platform, community, and player experience.
