Role Overview
This role is ideal for an early-career media or digital content professional who is passionate about video production, digital learning, social media, and emerging technologies. Working closely with technical specialists and the training team, you will help transform complex drone and remote sensing topics into engaging, visually strong learning content. You will support video production, editing, graphic design, e-learning content, and social media initiatives while gaining exposure to innovative drone and environmental technologies.
The role also offers a development pathway into drone operations and training support, including opportunities to become a qualified commercial drone operator and expand into broader training and remote sensing support responsibilities within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and edit videos for training courses, tutorials, demonstrations, and e-learning modules.
- Capture high-quality footage in office, studio, and field environments, including drone-related and ground-based thermal imaging activities where required.
- Work under instruction from technical specialists to help develop accurate and engaging remote sensing and drone learning content.
- Assist with scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, and structuring digital learning materials.
- Create graphics, thumbnails, presentation visuals, and infographics using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Use software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects to produce polished media outputs.
- Prepare short-form promotional and educational content for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and other digital channels.
- Support social media scheduling, publishing, and content organisation.
- Use creative AI tools where appropriate to assist with script drafting, visual ideation, voice support, captioning, and content development.
- Maintain organised media libraries, file structures, and branding consistency across all outputs.
- Support the wider team with general digital content creation and communications tasks.

Hours of Work, Work Environment, and Potential Travel

This role may involve occasional travel within the UK as required to support training activities, field operations, filming, and business requirements.
