The opportunity Volaris Group is hiring a Payments Director to strengthen and mature payments capability across its European portfolio - building the expertise, commercial foundations, and internal capability needed to support long-term growth. This opportunity sits in a specific Portfolio within Volaris Group that acquires and grows vertical market software businesses across Europe. Many have existing payments arrangements in place, but these have developed organically rather than strategically. This role exists to change that - bringing structure, expertise, and consistency to how payments are understood and managed across the group.

This is a senior hire with executive backing. You will be the first dedicated payments expert across the portfolio, which means the strategy and frameworks you build will shape how this Portfolio approaches payments for years to come.

The context Our portfolio companies are independent, decentralized businesses with highly capable commercial teams - but payments have not historically been a strategic focus. It is managed, but rarely optimized, and the expertise to do so well is not yet embedded across the group. As our companies grow and customer relationships deepen, a more structured approach to payments becomes increasingly important - both for operational efficiency and to stay ahead of evolving technology and regulation.
