Volantes Recruitment is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their daily flying programme while delivering exceptional service to their clients across the UK and Central Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the daily flying schedule, including flight planning and active flight following.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as CAMO and Maintenance for scheduled and unscheduled requirements.
  • Handle permits, third-party services, and ground handling arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Support emergency response planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

This role includes participation in a rota covering both evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in aviation operations is desirable.
  • Strong scheduling or coordination experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK.
