Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking an experienced Planning Officer to support aircraft maintenance activities within a Part-145 environment, working a 5-5-4 shift pattern in Wales. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities within a Part-145 environment, ensuring work scopes are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing maintenance work scopes for capacity and feasibility
- Issuing daily workloads to maintenance teams
- Identifying material and tooling requirements
- Creating, staging, and planning work orders
- Ensuring resource availability across planned tasks
- Management of technical records and publications
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance planning within an airline or MRO environment
- Strong knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 regulations
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Strong communication and team coordination skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- MS Project experience advantageous
- Fluent in English
