Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking an experienced Planning Officer to support aircraft maintenance activities within a Part-145 environment, working a 5-5-4 shift pattern in Wales. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities within a Part-145 environment, ensuring work scopes are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing maintenance work scopes for capacity and feasibility
  • Issuing daily workloads to maintenance teams
  • Identifying material and tooling requirements
  • Creating, staging, and planning work orders
  • Ensuring resource availability across planned tasks
  • Management of technical records and publications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance planning within an airline or MRO environment
  • Strong knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 regulations
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • MS Project experience advantageous
  • Fluent in English
