Supports the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager in providing Compliance Monitoring and SMS oversight of the business, conducts and follows up on internal and external audits to ensure compliance across all areas and functions of the organisation.
Role Accountabilities:
- Conducting internal and external scheduled / unscheduled audits in accordance with the audit plan and ensuring non-conformances are corrected within agreed timeframes.
- Ensures company policies, procedures and the MOEs are maintained in compliance with the applicable competent authority regulations.
- Conducting investigations and preparing reports on quality, technical and maintenance issues with RCA for the Authorities, Compliance / Quality Manager and the Accountable Manager as appropriate.
- Lead and support quality and compliance investigations and RCA.
- Responsible to coordinate the monthly safety and quality review meeting - Monitor and Manage SMS and implementation within the organisation.
- Manage the safety risk assessment and risk register.
- To facilitate and sustain a Just Culture within the organisation.
- Collect, analyse, and summarize quality-related information and trends to prepare reports on product and process quality.
- Promotes safety across all working environments.
- Liaise with customers and supplier quality departments as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in aviation qualified, or equivalent.
- More than 5 years’ experience in aircraft or engine maintenance.
- Have carried out training and either have experience as or are currently a Part 145 qualified auditor.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules, Human Factors, Human performance / limitations, and associated regulations as they apply to aircraft / engine maintenance.
- Experience in Civil Aviation Part 145 organization Compliance Monitoring / QMS and SMS, experience in Part IS is advantageous.
Salary, Allowances & Benefits:
Basic Salary discussed on application + £1,200 per annum London weighting (non-pensionable). Company funded Bupa private medical healthcare, medical assistance schemes, access to retail and gym membership discounts, competitive company pension scheme.
