Our cleint is looking for a reliable, hands-on cleaner to keep its aircraft hangar and surrounding facilities at Bournemouth Airport clean, safe and presentable. This is a long-term temporary position suited to someone who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently in a busy aviation environment. The role covers the hangar floor, workshops, offices, welfare areas and the grounds around the site. A driving licence is essential, as the role involves moving between areas of the site and occasional runs for supplies. Key duties * Sweep, scrub and mop hangar floors, including spill clean-up using the correct spill kits * Clean workshops, stores, offices, meeting rooms and welfare areas (kitchens, toilets, changing rooms) * Empty bins and manage waste segregation and recycling, including hazardous waste handling as directed * Keep walkways, fire exits and emergency routes clear and free of debris * Carry out Foreign Object Debris (FOD) sweeps in and around the hangar and apron areas * Clean windows, doors, fixtures and fittings * Tidy external areas around the site, including car parks and entrances * Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and consumables, collecting supplies when needed * Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers safely * Report any damage, hazards or maintenance issues to the site supervisor * Follow all site health and s...
