Volantes Renewables Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a growing team supporting electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who enjoys working in the field, solving technical challenges, and delivering first-class customer service.
You will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of AC, Rapid DC, Ultra-Fast and High-Power Charging (HPC) EV charging systems at customer sites nationwide. Working independently, you will ensure charging equipment remains safe, reliable and operating at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
The Role
As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, you will work across a variety of commercial and industrial locations, carrying out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on position, is comfortable travelling throughout the UK, and takes pride in delivering exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, configure and test AC, Rapid DC, Ultra-Fast and HPC EV charging systems.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
