Provide accurate and timely support to the team, ensuring that policy records are kept up to date. To undertake work and meet the agreed minimum standards and key performance indicators. Internal and external coordination and communications, both written and spoken, in support of efficient and effective risk entry, processing and solving of queries. This includes, but is not limited to, communication with senior management, brokers, credit controllers, and other external stakeholders. General administrative duties. Assist with the completion of pricing models, where necessary. Be the main point of contact for internal underwriting administrative queries, escalating to underwriters where necessary. Awareness of the workloads of others, assisting when necessary to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met. Production and drafting of reports as and when required. Sending out renewal reminders to brokers on a monthly basis. Also liaise with brokers for policy documents and primary documents to ensure that contract certainty requirements are met.
Experience required
- Previous insurance industry knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and methodically with a high attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with good planning/time management skills to achieve tight deadlines/targets.
- Ability to work independently, and take reasonable initiative, whilst being a team player.
- Analytical ability. A high level of numeracy and literacy.
- Motivated to develop and proactiveness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- All round awareness of those aspects of the insurance industry that have a direct bearing on key responsibilities and accountabilities.
