To provide external security operative to work in high-risk site monitoring facilitating staff and vehicle access. Ensure duties are conducted in accordance with policies and company procedures. Monitor and react to staff security and safety matters. Occasionally carry out other security functions on site as required. 12-hour shifts to include weekend working.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and facilitate entry/exit of staff, visitors and contractors using access control systems.
  • Monitor or facilitate entry and exit of staff and contractors' vehicles in accordance with policies.
  • Maintain a high level of security awareness and vigilance promoting a security-minded culture.
  • Monitor and operate radio and telephone communication system as required.
  • Complete incident reports as required in line with company policy.
  • Assist staff and visitors as required in a courteous and professional customer-focused manner.
  • Undertake patrols or other security-related functions in accordance with management instructions as required.

Requirements

  • Current SIA Door Supervisor license holder for over 3 years.
  • Previous experience working in a high-risk security and customer-focused environment.
  • Self-motivated, focused individual with a proven security background.
  • Evidence of security and first aid skills that must be maintained in date.
