Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Hybrid: Our hybrid working approach allows you to work both in the office and at home. We expect you to come into the office 2‑3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. Work with your line manager to understand expectations for your role and team.

What You’ll Do

The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for developing and leading a high‑performing, multi‑discipline squad to launch new products and/or enhance existing products, across a range of segments and channels. You will be a qualified and experienced Agile Delivery Manager with experience in managing projects, highly collaborative, organised and a strong communicator who can influence all levels. You will have a track record of successful delivery by planning, coaching and managing individuals and/or teams to achieve delivery objectives. You will ensure your team can move forward by removing blockers, securing capacity, providing seamless communications and working with the Product Owner/Manager to clarify the backlog.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Demonstrable experience in product delivery with budgets in excess of £1m
  • Organising, leading and planning with cross‑functional teams
  • Planning and execution of various agile ceremonies within the squad and in line with agreed governance
  • Ensuring teams complete their deliveries on time using creative thinking, collaboration and to a high level of quality
  • Budget/financial management as per guidelines

Who You Are

  • Relevant Agile delivery experience/qualifications, ideally with SAFe experience/qualifications
  • Telecommunications experience is highly desirable; we would also consider people with similar IT agile delivery industry experience.
  • Exposure to and understanding of Enterprise IT through managing developments with medium/high customer impacts, large numbers of customers and/or more complex products and services
  • Managing external dependencies, working with other Delivery Managers to track and keep on time, articulating issues, dependencies and risks to stakeholders
  • Consistently facilitating discussion with stakeholders and able to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
  • Creating a safe and mature environment to enable the team to work together, safeguarding the team against unwanted distractions and protecting their autonomy
