Location: Belfast or Glasgow + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • As a Sales Team Leader you will drive Vodafone Business' growth in the Public Sector market.
  • You will lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers, inspire high performance across inbound and outbound sales, build strong customer relationships, unlock opportunities within existing accounts, and deliver against key KPIs and revenue targets.
  • A strong focus on sales charter adoption, CRM discipline and high‑quality customer insight will be essential to support accurate planning and performance management.
  • Lead a high‑performing team that delivers sales charter KPIs, builds strong pipeline, and achieves 3x+ target cover through effective activity and customer engagement.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive team culture aligned to Spirit Values, including strong onboarding and a clear diversity and inclusion focus.
  • Manage time and coverage effectively across the team to maximise prospect engagement, addressable market penetration and conversion.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and a positive customer experience.
  • Coach, develop and performance‑manage individuals, while overseeing forecasting, pipeline health, resource planning and recruitment to support sustained revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience within B2B sales, ideally within telecommunications.
  • Experience of leading, coaching or developing people, with a track record of helping others perform and improve.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to build ROI‑led business cases linked to customer needs and strategic goals.
  • Technically aware, with a solid understanding of the relevant portfolio and solutions.
  • Strong strategic selling skills, including identifying opportunity, planning activity and turning sales plans into results.
  • Confident using sales tools and systems, including CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Highspot.
  • Experience of selling into public sector is highly desirable.
