Your mission at Voi: The Street Patrol team plays a key role in keeping our cities safe, tidy, and accessible. You’ll be out on the streets ensuring our e-scooters and e-bikes are parked correctly, compliant with local regulations, and ready for riders to use. You’ll also act as the face of Voi, supporting riders and helping maintain a positive relationship with the public and city partners. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where no two days are the same.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Patrol designated city areas to identify and address poor parking or unsafe rider behaviour.
  • Reposition, tidy, and rebalance incorrectly parked or fallen e-scooters and e-bikes.
  • Clear vehicles from blocked driveways, footpaths, cycle lanes, pedestrian crossings, parks, and green areas.
  • Identify defective vehicles and arrange for collection or repair.
  • Carry out on-site quality and safety checks.
  • Assess and provide feedback on current and potential parking locations.
  • Act as a friendly Voi representative, answering basic questions from riders and the public.
  • Provide daily patrol logs and share recurring hotspots to support local operations and parking strategy.
  • Support in-field and warehouse teams when needed (e.g. inspections, cleaning, logistics).
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, local laws, and regulations at all times.
  • Take good care of all equipment provided to you.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A strong communicator with an approachable, professional manner.
  • A responsible team player who can also work independently.
  • Calm and level-headed in busy or stressful situations (traffic, poor parking, public interaction).
  • Able to lift and move heavy loads.
  • Practical and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Familiar with your city and confident navigating it by van.

Driving Requirement: Minimum: Provisional UK driving licence. Preferred: Full UK driving licence.

Job conditions:

  • Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 (rota-based on a week shift pattern).
  • Working hours: Flexibility required to work shifts, including nights and weekends when needed.
  • Contract type: 3 Months Fixed-term contract.
