Your mission at Voi:

For the position as a Fleet Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to work across two different areas depending on workload and suitability. You’ll be part of our Mechanical team, where you’ll focus on the maintenance and repair of our vehicles making sure our scooters and e-bikes are safe, reliable, and ready for customers. You may also support our In-Field team, using our vans to complete operational tasks across the Northampton area, helping ensure our operations run as efficiently as possible.

Here are some exciting tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist:

  • Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles
  • Performing quality checks and identifying damaged vehicles
  • Battery replacement
  • Performing quick on-site repairs when needed
  • Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired
  • Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse
  • Supporting in-field operations as needed, including collecting damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, and setting up fallen vehicles
  • Ensuring smooth logistics for collecting and returning vehicles

What you’ll need to embark:

  • Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences and no major offences and meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance. You may be required to drive one of our e-Vans occasionally.
  • In-depth knowledge of your city and you’re used to driving in your city.
  • Responsible team player that can manage tasks alone and also work well in a group.
  • Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets.
  • Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions.
  • Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations.
  • You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads.

Note: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.

Job conditions:

  • Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)
  • Working hours: Early Shift with flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends
  • Contract type: 3 months Fixed Term
