Your mission at Voi is to focus on the maintenance and repair of our scooters and e‑bikes to keep them safe, reliable, and ready for customers. You may also support the In‑Field team, using vans to complete operational tasks across the Northampton area, ensuring efficient operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles
- Performing quality checks and identifying damaged vehicles
- Battery replacement
- Quick on‑site repairs when needed
- Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired
- Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse
- Supporting in‑field operations as needed (collecting damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, setting up fallen vehicles)
- Ensuring smooth logistics for collecting and returning vehicles
Qualifications required:
- Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 points for minor offences and no major offences, meeting e‑Van insurance requirements.
- In‑depth knowledge of your city and familiarity with driving there.
- Responsible team player able to manage tasks independently and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to motivate others and share knowledge within the team.
- Pragmatic problem‑solving mentality, executing tasks, finding solutions, and working hard to reach team targets and OKRs.
- Ready to navigate the city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions.
- Calmly reacts to stressful situations such as poor parking or traffic.
- Physical ability to carry heavy loads.
- Will be subject to a DBS check.
Job conditions:
- Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (fixed shift pattern)
- Working hours: Early Shift (8:30‑4:30 pm) with some weekend flexibility
- Contract type: 3‑month Fixed‑Term contract
