Overview
Your mission at Voi: for the position as a Fleet Specialist, you may work in two areas depending on workload and suitability. Our mechanical team covers maintenance and repair of vehicles to keep scooters in top shape, while our in-field team uses vans to perform tasks in the Cheltenham area to keep operations efficient.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the logistics of collecting and providing Voi scooters
- Search for and collect damaged scooters
- Battery replacement
- Perform quick on-site repairs of the scooters
- Diagnose and repair broken vehicles
- Recycle and dismantle vehicles that cannot be repaired
- Assist with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse
- Support the on-site team as needed, including identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles
What you’ll need to embark
- Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses and no major offenses; meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance (may be required to drive an e-van occasionally)
- In-depth knowledge of your city and comfort driving in it
- Responsible team player who can work independently and as part of a group
- Ability to motivate others and share knowledge within the team
- Pragmatic problem-solving mentality to execute tasks and reach team targets
- Willingness to navigate the city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to react calmly in stressful situations (e.g., poor parking, traffic)
- Physical ability to carry heavy loads
Note: DBS Check may be required for this role

- Working shifts: Fixed rota Wednesday - Sunday
- Working hours: 10pm - 6am
- Contract type: 3 months Fixed Term
