We are now looking for a Fleet Operations Coordinator to support our Fleet Operations team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step into a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced operational environment.
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As a Fleet Operations Coordinator, you will support and coordinate a team of Fleet Specialists during your shift. This is a practical, field-based role where you will spend most of your time out in the field, helping ensure smooth daily operations. The role is approximately 80% hands-on operational work and 20% team coordination and support.
Responsibilities
- Support daily fleet operations: Collect, deploy, and reposition vehicles across the city with a hands-on mindset.
- Assist with logistics tasks: Help with receiving, packing, and preparing vehicles for deployment.
- Coordinate the shift team: Support Fleet Specialists during the shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Maintain quality and safety standards: Help identify damaged or misplaced vehicles and ensure tidy parking zones.
- Support onboarding and training: Assist with training new team members and helping them succeed in the role.
- Work closely with the local operations team: Collaborate with your manager on shift planning and daily priorities.
What you need to embark
We are looking for a responsible and motivated team player who enjoys operational work and wants to grow into a leadership position. You bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Some experience supporting or guiding others (formal management experience is not required).
- A full UK driving license (max. 6 minor points, no major offences).
- Comfort using basic digital tools (Google Suite, MS Office).
Job conditions
- Working days: 5 out of 7.
- Working hours: Day Shift (10:00 - 18:00).
- Weekly rotation (Would be expected to work some weekends when needed).
- Contract type: 6 months fixed-term.
