Today, we are Europe’s #1 e-scooter operator, active in over 100 cities with more than 250 million rides completed, and we’re just getting started. As our London operations continue to grow, we’re looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead and support our Fleet Specialist team, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations across the city.
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll be a hands-on leader, spending most of your time out in the field while also supporting and developing your team. You’ll split your time roughly as follows:
- 80% in the field supporting operations
- 20% people leadership (training, performance follow-ups, and shift planning)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead from the front: Be out on the field collecting, deploying, and repositioning vehicles with a hands-on approach
- Run smooth daily operations: Support logistics such as receiving, packing, and deploying new vehicles
- Manage and motivate your team: Create shift plans, support performance, and step in proactively when targets or standards aren’t met
- Keep quality high: Work with your team to identify and fix damaged or incorrectly parked vehicles, ensuring safe and tidy parking areas
- Develop talent: Interview, train, and coach Fleet Specialists to help them succeed and grow within the business
- Plan and collaborate: Work closely with managers to optimise workflows, shift coverage, and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We’re looking for a pragmatic, responsible team player who enjoys solving problems and leading by example. You’ll also bring:
- 2+ years of work experience
- Previous experience managing or supervising a team
- Full UK driving licence (max. 6 points for minor offences; no major offences – required for e-van insurance)
- Comfortable using digital tools (MS Office / Google Workspace)
- Fluent in English
JOB CONDITIONS
- Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 (weekly rotation)
- Shift: Middle shift
- Weekend work: Required on rotation
- Contract: 6-month fixed-term
