As Bid & Pursuit Manager you are accountable for delivering critical bid and pursuit activities that effectively positions Voi as the obvious choice for cities tendering micromobility services. In this role you will report to the Director of Tenders and collaborate closely with the wider tender team to contribute to the strategic growth of the company, work continuously to maximise team impact, while improving and ensuring excellence in the end-to-end tender process. This will include:
- Owning and driving the pursuit process to ensure pre-tender activities are managed effectively, including researching the market, collaborating with local partners and facilitating win theme-, value proposition- and storyboard- workshops to make correct prioritisations and enable key stakeholders to contribute to a winning strategy.
- Taking ownership of the tender process, partnering with the Director of Tenders and senior team members to agree suitable resourcing on live opportunities, leading the drafting, reviewing, proof-reading and amendment of content for responses to ensure agreed win themes and localisation is prevalent throughout the drafting phase, and supporting the translation process.
- Managing the end-to-end process according to best practice, including milestones, kick-off, quality reviews, clarification and submission deadlines, and expertly delivering strong PMO excellence and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to ensure awareness of their role, responsibility (including RACI principles) and timeline.
- Ensuring all tender reporting is managed and stakeholders are kept up to date through regular communication and engagement and proactively seeking feedback to enhance decision-making and achieve strategically sustainable- and customer-focused objectives.
- Conducting best practice reviews on internal approach and process, analyse performance and tender response feedback and recommending and supporting improvements with impact on the overall quality and win rate.
- Supporting and contributing to competitor intelligence strategy and content management, and driving improvement across tender and content process (e.g., write-ups, graphical elements, writing guidelines).
- Driving continuous learning and growth through coaching, peer feedback, and knowledge-sharing of target cities and proposition strategies.
- Monitoring and promoting tender best practices regarding writing style and tone while being compliant with individual city/market requirements or restrictions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We’re looking for a structured and hands-on bid professional with experience from working in each step of the public tender process, and the ability to independently lead multiple high-impact projects simultaneously. In addition to this, we believe the right person have:
- +5 years of experience from bid/ tender management
- Experience from managing public sector bid/tender processes end-to-end
- Experience from managing and communicating complex topics efficiently to senior stakeholders
- Professional fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
